Alan Cooper Death – Alan Cooper, a dedicated member of Hundens Green Community Bowls Association passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024. An notification regarding the loss of Alan Cooper was posted on the Facebook page of the Hundens Green Community Bowls Association. There, the announcement was made. The statement concluded by saying,
“It is with tremendous sadness that I tell you that Alan Cooper has passed away.” Bowling in general and the Hundens Green Community Bowls Association club in particular benefited tremendously from his contributions, which were nothing short of outstanding. A beautiful human being, he was. In our thoughts, we are thinking about each and every member of the family, particularly Norma.
“It is with great regret that we have to inform you that our good friend Alan Cooper sadly passed away this morning,” announced the Durham County IBA on their official Facebook page. “We are deeply saddened to inform you of this news.” “We are deeply saddened to inform you of that.” Our hearts and thoughts are with Norma and the rest of the family during this difficult time.
“Friend for nearly forty years, you loved your bowls and bowls people loved you and appreciated you for all that you have done,” Susan Walker wrote in a letter. Tommy Turnbull wrote in his article that “Alan was one of the greatest and has been a hard-working official of the Durham Indoor Bowling Association over the years.” Alan was a member of the organization for many years. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing him will grievously miss him. I am incredibly appalled to learn that. While we are going through this challenging period, we are keeping Norma in our thoughts and prayers.
