March 28, 2024, and most recently updated at 5:01 PM on the same day The injuries that a woman, who was 78 years old, experienced in a car accident earlier in the month caused her to pass away in the hospital on Wednesday, March 27. On March 11, Kathleen Dianne Swanston was driving a Buick SUV in the direction of westbound traffic on West Irvington Road.

Additionally, she was attempting to make a left turn into Calle Santa Cruz when she was struck by a Chevrolet SUV that was traveling in the other direction. Neither of the drivers appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as stated in a press statement issued by the Tucson Police Department.

As a result of the fact that the police are not hunting for any suspects, it is possible that the incident was a murder-suicide; however, there is yet no official confirmation of this interpretation. The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office is currently conducting an investigation, and it is anticipated that the names of those who have passed away will be made public at a later date.
